Antique Original DIAMOND ROCK MINERAL WATER BOTTLE Label Civil War Era 1880s
Up for consideration is an original antique DIAMOND ROCK MINERAL WATER BOTTLE label circa 1880s. It is about 4.25" inches wide. The word "Water" is spelled out with rocks with a spring coming from the top of them. They say "Diamond Rock Mineral Water" "Double Carbonated" "The Gem of Table Waters". They are also marked "This bottle Should Be Laid On it's Side" which was common for early carbonated beverages. In small letters at the bottom is the "Ladwig & Schranck" mark. Ladwig and Shranck were early beverage makes in Milwaukee. Some of their stoneware jugs are very early. These are in excellent unused condition for their age. Old stock.
